The smallest sensible site office
Ten feet square is about the point at which a cabin stops being a hut and starts being an office. There is room for a desk, a chair or two, a plan chest and somebody standing over a drawing without anybody having to step outside. On a compound where every square metre is spoken for, that efficiency is the reason this size stays popular year after year.
It is a jackleg cabin, which means it stands on adjustable legs rather than a fixed base. In practice you can set it down on ground that is out of level, wind the legs until the door shuts properly, and be working the same afternoon. The legs add roughly 130mm to the overall width when extended, worth allowing for if you are threading it into a gap.
Windows and doors are in fixed positions on this model. Vinyl flooring is standard and carpet can be fitted on request. The exterior is goosewing grey, and an electric timed panel heater is fitted so the cabin is warm when the crew arrives rather than an hour later.
