At UK Container Hub we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your return and refund options. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.

Your Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (ACL). If a product is faulty, significantly not as described, or not fit for a purpose we advised, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns

We offer a 30-day return period. If you change your mind, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • the item is unused, undamaged and in its original, re-saleable condition;
  • you contact us first to obtain approval — returns are not accepted without prior authorisation;
  • you can provide proof of purchase (your order number or receipt).

Because containers and large items require specialised transport, for change-of-mind returns the cost of collection/return freight is the customer’s responsibility, the original delivery charge is non-refundable, and a reasonable restocking fee may apply. We will confirm any such costs with you before arranging the return.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order on delivery and report any damage, fault or discrepancy to us within 48 hours. Where an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, we will arrange a repair, replacement or full refund (including delivery costs) at no charge to you, consistent with the ACL.

Used & Wind & Watertight (WWT) Stock

Used containers are sold on a wind & watertight basis. Honest signs of prior use — surface rust, scuffs and minor dents — are expected, are disclosed as part of the grade, and are not considered faults.

How to Request a Return or Refund

Email sales@uk-containerhub.com or call with your order number and the reason for the return. Our team will guide you through the next steps.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of the returned item being received and inspected (or of approval, for faulty items). We will notify you by email once your refund has been issued.
