New 10ft containers are not built from scratch by the shipping lines in any great number, so almost every “new” 10ft on the UK market is a one-trip unit: manufactured in the Far East, loaded with a single cargo, and sold on arrival. That route is considerably cheaper than a purpose-built container and the end product is effectively the same thing.
This one is finished in white, RAL 9003. White is the practical choice for anything that will sit in the sun, because it reflects heat and keeps the interior appreciably cooler than a dark unit, and it is the colour most often chosen where the container needs to look clean rather than industrial.
