An older Groundhog, refurbished and priced accordingly
This is a 2010 model, fully refurbished internally and externally. Buying an earlier unit that has been properly brought back up to standard is usually the shrewder purchase: the layout, the towing gear and the anti-vandal steelwork on these have changed very little, so what you give up in model year you get back in price. The finish here is grey and green.
Its appeal on site is that one person can move it. It tows easily, secures quickly and manoeuvres into position without a second pair of hands, which matters when a small crew is relocating every few days.
Canteen room
Bench seating for six, a thermostatically controlled wall heater, microwave, kettle, worktop and a sink with running hot water from a water heater. Fluorescent lighting, a double electrical socket, the consumer unit, and fresh, waste and drinking water containers.
Drying room and generator bay
A 5kVA used diesel generator with an integral fuel tank, serviced before the unit is despatched, plus coat hooks, a covered tube heater and a PIR bulkhead light.
Toilet
Self-contained chemical flush toilet with sink, coat hook, soap and towel dispensers, toilet roll holder and a PIR bulkhead light.
Security
Three anti-vandal steel exterior doors serve the three rooms independently, each with a built-in locking mechanism and concealed hinges. The single canteen window is protected by steel shutters that can only be released from inside. That is the specification that lets you leave the unit standing on an open site overnight. Free UK delivery is included in the price.
