The smallest secure box worth owning

An 8ft container occupies about the same ground as a large garden shed and offers a completely different level of security. There is no timber to lever, no felt roof to cut through and no hinge to unbolt from the outside. For a domestic driveway, a small yard, an allotment site or a compact commercial premises where a 20ft unit would swallow the space, this is the sensible size.

These are made to order by cutting down a longer container and rebuilding the end, then repainting the whole unit in marine grade paint in the colour you specify. Blue RAL 5013 is a popular choice and is available now. Every unit is supplied wind and watertight guaranteed.

The doors

Rather than original cargo doors, these are fitted with flat panel doors. They are lockable, secure, and noticeably easier to operate day to day than a set of shipping doors with four locking rods that have to be swung in sequence. A locking bar and a high security lockbox are included as standard. If you would prefer the original cargo doors we can supply the unit that way instead, so just say when ordering.

Inside you get a solid plywood floor and a clean, tidy interior, though cosmetic detail will vary slightly between units.

If 8ft is a little tight, we also carry used cut-down 10ft containers at a lower cost per foot. UK delivery is on us, with no exclusions.
