The doors are what lift it above a standard used box. S2 doors are a flat-panel design supplied with external weather seals and a lockbox already in place, which is the combination that keeps water out and bolt croppers away from the padlock. On a used container, having that fitted from the start saves an awkward retrofit later.
The shell is ex-shipping-line Corten steel, sold wind and watertight. As with any used unit, expect cosmetic wear: scuffs, some denting, patches of surface rust and faded paint. What you should not expect is a leak, a sticking door or a soft floor, because each container is checked before it goes out.
It is well suited to allotments, gardens, small trade premises, club stores and domestic overflow, and its small footprint means it can be craned into places a 20ft could not reach.
