A container conversion that does not look like a container inside
This unit has been stripped back and rebuilt as a genuine working office. The walls, ceiling and floor are spray-foam insulated, then fully plastered and finished in matte white, so the interior reads as a room rather than a steel box with boards screwed to it. Ash grey wood-effect vinyl runs throughout. Both end panels are fully glazed with their own glazed access doors, and a central inward-opening French door set in anthracite grey fills the middle of the space with light. The result is bright, open plan and considerably more pleasant to spend a working day in than a standard site cabin.
Electrics and glazing
- Two wall-mounted electric heaters
- Five double electrical sockets and a consumer unit
- Four LED panel lights
- External 32 amp commando socket for a straightforward site hook-up
- Two new white uPVC tilt and turn windows with external anti-vandal sliding shutters
- Central anthracite grey French door set, supplied with locking keys
- Two glazed end panels with lockable glazed access doors, keys included
Underneath the finish it is still steel anti-vandal construction, and the shutters close over the glazing when the building is left unattended. Exterior colour is white.
