The extra foot is the whole point. A standard 20ft gives you 8ft 6in of external height; a high cube gives you 9ft 6in, and once you are inside the container that difference is immediately obvious. You can rack the walls and still walk down the middle, store equipment on wheels without ducking, and stack pallets two high where a standard box would only take one.
This is a new unit, so the paint is unmarked, the marine plywood floor is dry and the door seals compress properly. High cubes cost a little more than standard containers and hold their value better, largely because the shipping lines run relatively few of them and demand consistently outstrips the second-hand supply.

Site storage is the most common use, but the headroom also makes this the sensible base for an office, gym, studio or workshop conversion, where a standard container quickly feels low once you add insulation and a ceiling. Free delivery anywhere in the UK.
