The long-term purchase
There is a straightforward case for buying new rather than used at this size, and it is not really about appearance. A one-trip high cube will outlast a used one by a considerable margin, which matters if the container is going to sit on your yard for the next fifteen years rather than covering a single contract. It also holds far more of its value, so if you do come to sell it on in ten or twenty years you recover a meaningful proportion of what you paid.
The appearance is a genuine benefit too. On a yard you want to look organised and professional, a row of clean matching containers reads very differently to a collection of faded ex-shipping boxes in four colours.
What you get
- One trip, new condition
- Circa 28mm marine plywood floor throughout
- Heavy duty cargo doors with a rubber seal
- Circa five year CSC plate where the unit is to be used for export
The high cube height gives you extra internal clearance over a standard container, which is what makes these workable for racking, for plant, and for conversions where insulation and a ceiling will eat into the headroom.
If the container is destined for export rather than static storage, say so when you order so we can confirm the CSC position for your intended use. No delivery charge applies, anywhere in the UK.
