Three separate rooms, towed behind a vehicle
Welfare provision is a legal obligation on site, and on a job that moves every few days a towable unit is the only practical way to meet it. This Groundhog unit divides into three independently accessed spaces, each with its own highly secure steel anti-vandal door with a built-in locking mechanism and hidden hinges, so nobody has to walk through the drying room to reach the toilet.
Canteen room
Bench seating for six, a wall heater with thermostatic control, microwave, kettle, worktop and sink with running hot water from a water heater, fluorescent lighting, a single socket and the consumer unit. Fresh, waste and drinking water containers are included. The one window in this room is protected by steel shutters that lock from the inside only.
Drying room and generator bay
Coat hooks, a covered tube heater and a PIR bulkhead light, alongside a used diesel generator with a built-in fuel tank which is serviced before the unit is despatched. The eco specification is aimed at keeping fuel burn and running hours down over a long deployment. If mains power is available on site you can connect to that instead and leave the generator idle.
Toilet
Self-contained chemical flush toilet, sink, coat hook, soap and towel dispensers, toilet roll holder and a PIR bulkhead light.
Towing
Single axle with a ball hitch and towing eye, supplied gross weight 1,980kg. Towing board and cable are supplied and fitted. If you plan to collect rather than take delivery, check your towing vehicle has the correct connectors first. We deliver free of charge to any address in the UK.
