Choose how many doors you actually need
This unit comes in two configurations and the choice is worth thinking about properly. The 2DR version gives bi-fold side access along the flank. The 4DR version splits that same opening into four independently operated doors. If you are loading long items in one movement, two large doors are simpler. If several people or trades need access to different sections without opening the whole side to the weather, four doors is the better arrangement.
Either way you keep the traditional end cargo doors as well, so a 40ft side opener effectively has access on two faces.
Where it earns its keep
Construction sites and warehouses where a forklift cannot travel 40ft down a container to reach the back. Agricultural storage. Retail merchandising and mobile exhibitions, where the open side becomes the frontage. Anywhere you are storing pipes, sections, flat-pack goods or machinery that will not turn through an end door.
