Drive in one end, out of the other
A tunnel container is a standard 40ft box with a second set of cargo doors fitted at the far end instead of a solid wall. What that buys you is through access, and anyone who has spent a morning reversing a digger back out of a container will understand the value immediately. Plant goes in the front and comes out of the back. Nothing needs shunting to reach the item at the wrong end.
Customers put these to some inventive uses. Boiler and plant rooms where engineers need to get past the machinery rather than climb over it. Machinery and vehicle stores for diggers, cars and karts. In one case, housing for a land train.
