An insulated container is not a fridge. There is no compressor and no power requirement; the insulation in the walls, roof and floor simply slows the rate at which the interior follows the outside temperature. That is exactly what you want when the enemy is not heat but swing: the daily cycle that drives condensation, and the condensation that then causes mould, corrosion and spoiled packaging.
Because of that, these units are used to store and move goods that suffer in an ordinary dry box, including foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, electronics, paper and leather. At 20ft they remain easy to site and easy to move.

It is worth knowing the difference between the three options before you buy: a working refrigerated container with a live plant, an insulated non-working reefer like this one, and a standard container retro-insulated after the fact. We supply all three. Call +44 7340 712012 or email sales@uk-containerhub.com and we will point you at the right one. Free delivery anywhere in the UK.
